Djurbranschens Yrkesnämnd (DYN), i.e. Swedish Animal Vocational Board, represents working life and is a network for monitoring and pursuing mutual issues, and it also promotes education and recruitment within the line of domestic animal business, except farm animals and horses.
DYN represents member organisations in pet shops/pet suppliers, zoos, animal clinics, insurance companies, breeding and breeders, educational organisations, animal welfare and animal shelters.
DYN pursues several issues that ultimately benefit pet owners, among other things to:
- represent the domestic animal industry
- make professions visible
- engage and pursue dialogue
- monitor education
- collaborate with schools
- be a referral body
- issue professional certificates
DYN acts as a referral body in matters relating to domestic animals, animal husbandry and education. The consultation and referral body responses that DYN has given through the years are listed under the heading ”Dokument/Yttranden och remissvar.”
